AMC and partner organizations have filed a preliminary injunction to stop construction of the Susquehanna-Roseland transmission line through the Delaware Water Gap until a court decision is made on whether National Park Service approval complied with federal law. In October the groups challenged the National Park Service’s approval of the transmission line as a violation of the NPS Organic Act and the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, and they pointed out deficiencies in the agency’s required environmental analysis under the National Environmental Policy Act.
